Part-Time Certificate Program

The Part-Time Certificate Program at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Music and Performing Arts began in 2021 within the State Conservatory. The "Part-Time Certificate Program" exams are open to students who have completed primary school education. Students who pass the special talent exam, conducted according to the criteria set by the ÇOMÜ Faculty of Music and Performing Arts exam commission, are eligible for enrollment in the program. The program offers four levels of education: Middle 1, Middle 2, Middle 3, and Middle 4. In addition to "Instrument" training, the program also includes "Music Theory and Solfege" courses to ensure that students become well-equipped individuals in the field of music. The education lasts for 28 weeks in total, with 14 weeks in the fall semester and 14 weeks in the spring semester. Weekly classes are conducted as 2 hours per week of music theory and solfege, and 1 hour per week of instrument training. The Part-Time Certificate Program, which aims to train future artists, provides students with stage experience through various concerts.
